NuoDB Announces AWS Quickstart Kit at AWS re:Invent 2014
Company streamlines evaluations of leading NewSQL cloud database. Also at re:Invent NuoDB CTO to speak at Fireside Chat.
Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA – November 11, 2014 - NuoDB, the leader in webscale distributed database technology, today announced the availability of an AWS Quickstart Kit at Booth 551 at the AWS re:Invent conference, The Venetian, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Quickstart Kit is available for free download on GitHub at: https://github.com/nuodb/aws-quickstart
Quickstart makes it easy to deploy NuoDB in a scale-out AWS configuration across multiple hosts in multiple regions, for an efficient, time-saving evaluation of NuoDB on EC2.
Users answer a few questions posed in Quickstart to automatically provision a fully-functional NuoDB domain by:
Creating security groups in the regions they specify
Starting as many EC2 instances as requested and installing NuoDB on each
Configuring NuoDB to operate in all regions
Installing a complete set of administrative tools, samples, and demos.
With Quickstart users are also able to:
Explore NuoDB’s unique architecture and Automation Console
Start developing or porting an application
Populate and query the a pre-provisioned, sample database
Explore a built-in demo application.
