NuoDB Gamma Soft Announce Technology Alliance
NuoDB announced a technology alliance with Gamma Soft, a provider of real-time data migration, transformation and replication technology
Cambridge, MA- October 10, 2013- NuoDB, Inc., the leader in distributed database management systems, today announced a technology alliance with Gamma Soft, a provider of real-time data migration, transformation and replication technology.
NuoDB customers will be able to use Gamma Soft’s technology to move and replicate data from a variety of data sources to NuoDB. This combination of products will allow them to extend their existing legacy systems for real-time reporting and analysis or consolidate databases into NuoDB for scale-out cloud or global deployment.
The NuoDB integration with Gamma Soft supports:
- Data migration – even from multiple, simultaneous data sources - to NuoDB
- Real-time data replication into NuoDB without disrupting existing systems or applications
- Data transformations as needed

Results of replication tests
Gamma Soft ran a series of tests to time the replication of 100,000 transactions (including inserts, updates and deletes) using a single server configuration (details available at this link) across a number of RDBMS. Results documented that NuoDB offers significant performance advantages over the other solutions.
