John Wagner
Chief Financial Officer
John serves as our chief financial officer and is responsible for all aspects of finance and administration for NuoDB. John has nearly twenty years experience in financial management for various technology companies and enjoys facilitating the growth of emerging companies.
John most recently served as Vice President of Finance for Carbonite, where he played a key role in the cloud backup provider’s 2011 initial public offering and subsequent transition to a public company. Prior to Carbonite, John served as Controller of Constant Contact, a provider of software-as-a-service marketing solutions to small businesses. While with Constant Contact, John led its financial operations and accounting team during the company’s dramatic revenue growth from $20 to $220 million and its 2007 initial public offering. John also served as Chief Financial Officer for Salesnet, a customer relationship management software-as-a-service company, leading the company through its sale to RightNow Technologies.
John began his career with the firm of Arthur Andersen and also served as Accounting Manager of Mirror Image Internet, a content delivery network provider.
John is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and information systems from University of Massachusetts’s Isenberg School of Management and an MBA from Boston University.
John and his family spend much of their summer on Cape Cod and the islands. He is passionate about small powerboats and also subjects his family to several long sailing cruises each summer.
